What was the last book that you read?

My school hands out reading calendars at the first of every month.  We are suppose to write down the minutes that we read each month.  Since I'm in 3rd grade, the goal is 600 minutes a month.  I barely met the 600 minute goal for the month of October. 

I love to read.  I've read the all of the Junie B. Jones and The Magic Tree House books.  I have also read the first five Harry Potter books.  I especially liked Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.  The last book I read was The Never Ending Story.  My goal is to read 700 minutes this month, and to hand my calendar back in.  What was the last book that you read?

Halloween 2012

This Halloween I dressed up as the Queen of Hearts.  I love Halloween.  It is so much fun!  My school has a Halloween carnival every year.  We get to play games and win prizes.  Everyone in my school dresses up, including the teachers.  My teacher was Raggedy Andy this year.  My favorite girl costume was my friend, Aubrey, who dressed up as Miss America.  My favorite boy costume was my friend, Kayden, who dressed up as an awesome vampire.  My favorite teacher costume was Mr. Pace, who dressed up as a Chinese ninja.

After school, I got to go to my Aunt Hollie's Halloween party in Nephi, UT.  My mom dressed up as Alice in Wonderland and my dad as The Mad Hatter.  Lots of my cousins were there.  We played games, did Witches Brew, and ate good food.  After the party, we went trick-or-treating with the cousins.  I got a whole bucket full of candy.  It will take me months to eat it all.  This year's Halloween was unbelievable!  I loved it!  Can't wait until next year!

The World Series 2012

My dad and I watched the World Series this year.  It was pretty fun.  He explained to me all about the rules of baseball.  This year the teams in the World Series were the San Fransisco Giants and the Detroit Tigers.  We were routing for the Giants and watched all of the games.  The first team to win four games wins the series.  This year the Giants won it in four straight games.  The Tigers didn't win any games.  They were cool games to watch.  The Panda was my favorite player.

Rio!

This is my dog Rio!  Santa Claus brought her to me the day before Christmas Eve last year!  Rio is a girl Jack Russell Terrier.  She was born around Halloween time which makes her a Fall baby.  Her 1st birthday is coming up.  Rio has been a very fun dog for me.  She always wants to play and run.  We play a game called the Rio game where I jump from one side of the trampoline to the other.  My trampoline is in the ground, so she chases me around and around and tries to nip me.  I like to take Rio on walks and bike rides.  She never loses energy.  I also don't have to tie her up.  She never leaves our house.  I love my puppy with all my heart.
